Reportedly deadly heart attack: The husband of a teacher was killed in the Uvalde shooting.

Four children have been left behind by Joe and Irma Garcia.

The spouse of a teacher who was killed in the shooting that occurred at Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday suffered a heart attack on Thursday and later passed away.

According to Ernie Zuniga, Joe Garcia was the husband of Irma Garcia, one of the two teachers who were murdered by Salvador Ramos during the attack on Robb Elementary School. Ramos carried out the attack. Following their passing, Joe and Irma left behind four children in their family.

Garcia is said to have passed away on Thursday due to either “grief” or a medical issue, as stated on several Twitter and GoFundMe pages.
