Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Texas, criticized President Biden’s dangerous border policies during an interview on “Sunday Morning Futures” on Sunday, stating that the government will remain dismissive until Democratic Party members recognize the problem.
They are basically telling the people who are trafficking people for sex and people for human exploitation that they do not care that they are coming into the country. They are telling the individuals who are traveling through Mexico that they “don’t care” about the fact that they are being sexually assaulted on a daily basis. They are unconcerned about it. They won’t even make the effort to go there and check it out for themselves. They make no effort to discuss the strategies that have been developed to be able to put an end to it. They won’t even bother addressing the issue until those who have backed the Democratic Party in the past, such as Lori Lightfoot, the mayor of Chicago, start talking about it.
And then you think about what is going on in those cities, the increase in crime that we are seeing, as well as the increase in mortality that we are witnessing. This is something that has to be looked into since you are correct; it used to be states along the border.
At this point, each and every one of the states that make up this country is a border state. And, you are aware of what? If we have to send buses into those states’ cities to prove it, then we will do so. It’s remarkable what can take place when it’s right in your own backyard you think about it.
