During the course of the previous year, thirteen American personnel lost their lives as a result of an attack on the Kabul airport.
The President of the United States, Joe Biden, reminisced on the one-year anniversary of the terrorist assault that occurred at the Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan. Thirteen American servicemen were killed in the incident.
In a statement, President Joe Biden referred to the attack as a “heinous terrorist crime,” but he did not accept responsibility for the administration’s botched and disorderly withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“Our country will always remember their sacrifice and honor the memory of those 13 magnificent people,” said Vice President Joe Biden. “They were taken from their families, loved ones, brothers, and sisters-in-arms far too soon while they were engaged in a gallant job on behalf of our Nation.”
