After nine individuals were shot outside of a pub late on Saturday night, an investigation was being conducted in Philadelphia.

Around 10:45 p.m., shots were fired outside a bar near Kensington and East Allegheny Avenues in the Kensington district.

Initially, it was thought that 12 individuals had been hit, but Philadelphia police First Deputy Commissioner John Stanford acknowledged nine people had been shot during a news conference. Two of the casualties are in serious condition, while the other seven are in stable condition.

According to one of the media outlets, the victims range in age from 23 to 49 and include both men and women.
