Summer Lee, a Democrat running for the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District, was present at the campaign event Fetterman and Obama attended.
In the past, Lee has pushed for left-leaning legislative initiatives like reparations, eliminating ICE, and defunding the police.
Lee declared in a tweet from 2020 that the moment has come to demand that the police be defunded since “all previous requests have been neglected.”
