One gunshot was fired at a high school graduation in Michigan last night, authorities said.

According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, at least one individual was shot during the incident.

At least one person was hurt as a result of a shooting that took place at a high school in the state of Michigan on Thursday evening during a graduation ceremony, as reported by the relevant authorities.

East Kentwood High School was the location of a gunshot, as stated in a tweet published by the Kent County Sheriff’s Office; however, no one has been taken into custody as of yet.

“East Kentwood High School has been the location of the shooting, and law enforcement officers are currently on the site. There has been one victim of gunfire positively identified so far. At this moment, the person responsible has not been located. The Public Information Officer (PIO) will provide an update to the district once they have arrived.” The sheriff’s department gave its report on the matter.
