In the Hudson Valley of New York, officers from search and rescue were able to retrieve the body of a lady who was in her thirties.
The Hudson Valley in the state of New York was struck by severe flooding on Sunday night, which resulted in the death of at least one person and the closure of a large number of roadways.
According to the Associated Press, a rescue squad in the Hudson Valley made an effort to recover the body of a woman in her 30s who had drowned after being carried away while attempting to leave her home. The woman had been trying to leave her home when she was taken away. Two further people were successful in evading capture.
The strength of the flash floods, according to Steven Neuhaus, the executive of Orange County, caused pebbles to get dislodged and fall into the woman’s house, causing damage to a wall.
His word for the water that surrounded her house was “complete.” It was impossible for her and her dog to make it over the tidal surges that they were trying to cross.
