Former Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has hailed Manchester United’s performance this season and insists they have all it takes to compete for the next season’s Premier League title.

Nemanja Matic said: “I like the way he wants to play.
“I like the way United are playing. They have had some ups and downs, and that is normal with a new manager.
“But I’m happy with how they have progressed and I think next season they will fight for the title for sure.”
The Serbian international won two Premier League titles during his time at Chelsea. Still, it failed to achieve the same feet as Manchester United. But he has expressed that he loved both Chelsea and Manchester United.
He added: “I’m very proud to have represented two of the biggest clubs in England,’ he said.
“I lived the dream playing in the Premier League for Chelsea and Manchester United, it was a great achievement. I will always remember those clubs in a positive way and they have a special place in my heart.”

On his Youtube channel, Vibe with Five, he said: “We deserved to win the game. Did you see Bruno’s numbers? Wow.
“The guy… it’s remarkable what he is doing. If he was at Arsenal, he’d probably have a statue now at the Emirates with the numbers he has done!
“Does Bruno take the captaincy next year? 100 percent, I think he does. Since Bruno signed [for Man Utd], he has been the most impactful player we have had.
“He’s wearing the armband while Maguire doesn’t play. I think it is natural progression for him to be captain next season.”
On Manchester United ending Aston Villa ten matches unbeaten run, he added: “We stopped their 10-game unbeaten run.
