According to information provided by Illinois State Police to authorities, a boat that was docked at Spring Brook Marina in Seneca, Illinois on Saturday at approximately 4:26 p.m. and was carrying 17 people was involved in a fire.
According to the police, at least thirteen passengers were transported to local hospitals, and one of them was described as having “serious injuries.”
In addition, a worker at the marina was hurt in a somewhat mild way.
