Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat to FC Astana wasn’t what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had planned but James Garner and Dylan Levitt’s performance in central midfield for me was the standout positive from the game as well as Ethan Laird’s debut at right-back. It was a controlled first half by United but after Tahith Chong missed an open goal, Astana equalised within 30 seconds and the game flipped on its head.
