A 40-year-old man from Kenya, known for his mental health advocacy, went viral after saying he’s Elon Musk’s oldest son. He claims that his mother had a brief encounter with a young Elon Musk back in the early 1990s while in Kenya.
The man identifying himself only as a “mental health activist” with an uncanny resemblance to Musk is demanding a DNA test to prove his relationship with the tech mogul.
Interestingly, the man insists this isn’t about money or fame—he just wants the truth and recognition. He even ties his mental health work to what he calls Elon Musk’s ‘innovative legacy.
Elon Musk would have been just 14 years old at the time—a big discrepancy from the man’s claim that his mother supposedly met a 20-year-old Musk in the early 1990s while working at a hotel in Kenya’s Masai Mara.
The man’s anonymity, no name or verifiable identity, and a single suspicious photo believed by many to be AI-generated add to doubts. The image and claim have circulated before, with similar posts from 2024 resurfacing, further undermining credibility
Social media users have mostly dismissed the story. Some think it’s pure fakery, while others say, ‘Show us the DNA test.’ Elon Musk himself hasn’t commented.
