It would appear that deputies in Orangeburg, South Carolina, found out that the man who was at Walmart did not have a gun on him.

An incident when a guy threatened to shoot the employees at a Walmart in South Carolina reportedly led to an employee being detained on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at a Walmart in South Carolina.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident took place on North Road in Orangeburg, South Carolina, inside of a shop on that street.

The sheriff’s office made an announcement on Facebook stating it had been notified of reports of a possible gunman at the Walmart on North Road. The post was shared on Facebook. “The suspected criminal was taken into custody without a hitch. The rapid response of the law enforcement officers was a huge relief, and we are grateful to everyone who called.”

Maj. Rene Williams told the Times and Democrat that deputies began receiving complaints at approximately 9:40 a.m. about an unusual man acting suspiciously in the shop while carrying a book bag.
