According to the authorities, a woman in her fifties was discovered dead in a hotel room in Killeen, Texas, and a man has been detained in connection with the case.
The name of the woman who passed away has not been made public, as stated in a press statement issued by the Killeen Police Department, and this will continue until the family has been notified.
A disturbance was reported in the 2700 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard at 11:23 p.m., and the police were summoned to the scene. They found a male and a female inside the hotel room when they entered it. When the paramedics arrived, they reported that the woman showed no symptoms of being alive. It was determined that she had passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.
There is a request for a necropsy to be performed.
