Gleison Bremer Silva Nascimento was born on 18 March, 1997 in Itapitanga, State of Bahia, Brazil, to Miss Silva (mother) and Mr. Nascimento (Father).His father named him after German footballer and 1990 World Cup winner Andreas Brehme because of his bravery, character, and strength.
At the age of 17, Bremer joined Deportivo Brazil in 2014. while at Deportivo brazil, Bremer along with teammates had an opportunity to play in youth tournaments in Holland and were the runner-up.
Bremer joined Sao Paulo under 20 on loan in 2016. He made his debut for the under 20 in a Copa Paulista as a substitute in their 3-0 loss to Rio Claro in October. Atlético Mineiro signed Gleison Bremer in March 2017 for R$ 380,000 after helping his team win the Rio Grade do Sul competition.
He made his competitive debut for Atlético Mineiro against Chapecoense in the Brazil Serie A after he was promoted to the senior team replacing the injured Rodrigão. after impressing with the season team, Bremer was awarded a contract extension till 2021.
