After a chase in Georgia ended in a firefight in the woods on Friday, a police K9 and a potential murder suspect were killed.
According to the media, Clayton County police found a car connected to a murder investigation just before noon along River Road near Interstate 285. This led to a tragic altercation, which ended in death.
A stop attempt required assistance, so the Georgia State Patrol and Clayton County Sheriff’s Office were contacted.
The driver first stopped for the stop, but as troopers approached the car on foot, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation claims, the driver sped off.
