The murder of pro-cyclist Moriah “Mo” Wilson took place in May, and police in Austin, Texas, are looking for a woman named Kaitlin Armstrong in connection with the case.
Yoga instructor Kaitlin Armstrong is wanted for questioning in connection with the death of pro-cyclist Anna Moriah “Mo” Wilson, which occurred on May 11 in Austin, Texas. According to investigators, Armstrong sold her black Jeep Grand Cherokee for more than $12,000 before fleeing the state of Texas in connection with the death of Wilson. Wilson was one of the people that got assaulted in the incident.
The United States Marshals Service asserts that Armstrong, who is 34 years old, sold a car that had been observed in the area of the crime scene on the day that Wilson was murdered on May 13 — a day after she was questioned by Texas authorities and then released from custody. The car in question had been seen in the vicinity of the crime scene on the day that Wilson was killed. It is said that she sold the SUV to a CarMax store located in Austin, Texas, and kept the cheque for $12,200 as a result of the sale.
She took her first flight the following day, and then, beginning the following week, she embarked on a series of flights almost shortly after that.
On May 25, in addition to the allegation of murder for which Armstrong was being sought, she was charged with making an unauthorized flight to evade punishment. This charge was brought about because Armstrong was allegedly trying to avoid being punished. According to the Marshals Service, there is currently a reward of $21,000 being offered for information that leads to her capture.
