Flood watches and severe precipitation forecasts were issued for the affected areas in Kentucky.
This coming weekend, flooding threatens to wreak havoc on parts of Kentucky that have already been severely affected by it in the past.
As a result of a front that is moving over the eastern United States at a snail’s pace, the Ohio Valley and the Northeast will be hit by intense precipitation and thunderstorms.
The News God, Weather forecasts that during the next several days, rainfall totals of one to three inches are expected to occur in the majority of places, although totals of three to five inches are likely to occur in select locations.
The National Weather Service has issued flood watches for vast portions of Kentucky, as well as for parts of Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia. These watches also cover parts of West Virginia.
