In an effort to get the FBI’s notice, a Florida man threatened to burn down a hospital. He is now in jail for his threats.
Glenn Schaeffer, 56, reportedly left his home Monday night wearing camouflage and potentially carrying a pipe bomb or Molotov cocktails, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. A family member of Schaeffer reportedly called the police to report this.
Near US Highway 41 S and Pennsylvania Avenue, where patrol units had discovered Schaeffer, they made an effort to stop him. However, Schaeffer would not get out of his automobile and eventually took off.
At Schaeffer’s home in Gibsonton later on, deputies reconnected with him and safely arrested him.
