Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a sincere message to Manchester United fans for their support since his arrival from Juventus.
According to the 37 years old, Manchester United fans have been supportive of him since he made his second debut for Manchester United in a 4-1 win over Newcastle United at Old Trafford.
Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League under interim coach Ralf Rangnick and recorded one of the lowest points in their club history in the Premier League. Despite Manchester United’s poor season, Cristiano Ronaldo was arguably Manchester United’s best player in the Premier League and the season.

Speaking in an interview on Manchester United’s official website, the five-time Ballon D’or winner said: “What I have to say to the fans is they are amazing.
“Even when you’ve lost the game, they always support us, they’re always with us.
“The supporters are always in my heart and it’s the people that all should respect because they are always on our side.
“For example the first game, of course, I not only felt it in the game but one day before in the hotel.
“I was a little bit nervous before, which is normal, but things are going well. I started the game, I scored two goals and it was very, very nice.”
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo had also debunked claims that he plays for personal records.
According to the Portuguese international, He does not follow records but it’s the records that follow him.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the all-time top scorer in competitive matches after surpassing Josef Bican’s record of most goals to become FIFA’s top scorer in competitive matches.
Ronaldo is also the all-time top goal scorer in international competitions with 115 goals for Portugal.
The Portugal skipper said: “The records [are] coming naturally,” he added. “I don’t follow the records, but the records follow me so it’s good.
“It’s still my motivation to carry on working hard, to still love the passion for the game, and of course, Manchester and my teammates help me all the way so I have to appreciate all the people who help Cristiano.
“It’s always nice to score goals for this club. When it is a hat trick it’s even more [nice].
“But the most important thing for me is to try to win the games and try to win some championship or some cup but I believe that Manchester will be where they belong. Sometimes it takes time, but I still believe.”
Ronaldo also added that it is important that the young players get the opportunity to showcase their talents.
Cristiano Ronaldo added: “I’m in favor that we should give opportunities to the young generation because they will be the future,’ Ronaldo said in an interview on the club’s website.
“You have to give them time, the opportunity, and let them grow in a normal way without pressure.
“They understand, to achieve the success you have to sacrifice, work hard, have the work ethic, dedication. But of course, if the kids ask me for advice I will give my opinion and advice because I want to help.”
