Three of the five defendants who were allegedly in the US illegally were accused of contacting minors online for sex.
Chris Hansen, the presenter of TruBlu’s “Takedown” on FOX Nation, carried out a predator sting last month that resulted in the two-day arrest of five defendants, three of whom were undocumented immigrants. The perpetrators were reportedly caught seducing a youngster for sex.
About 45 minutes from Birmingham, in Alabama, we collaborated with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office. “Two were from Guatemala, and one was from Honduras,” Hansen said Fox News Digital.
In online talks with the suspects, Hansen and the sheriff’s office pretended to be an undercover “aunt” seeking to sell her niece for sex.
“Each used translator apps to have graphic [English] conversations spelling out the sexual acts they wanted to have with the child,” Hasnen told Fox News Digital. He went on to say that the “worked in construction and landscaping, often employed by homeowners and unsuspecting families.”
