The event resulted in the death of a 25-year-old lady and the injuring of six other people.
According to the information provided by the Chicago Police Department, the deadly shooting took place in the 4800 block of West Iowa Street in the Austin area located on the West Side of Chicago about one in the morning.
After the police arrived, they found the 25-year-old woman lying still on the ground, suffering from several gunshot wounds. She was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, but by the time they get there, it was already too late to save her life.
