According to a California Democrat, when parents attend school board meetings, they should be given a lesson in professionalism.

While participating in a committee discussion of a bill aimed at boosting transparency in the public school curriculum, a California state legislator made the statement that parents who attend school board meetings should “take a lesson.”

California State Senator Connie Leyva reacted sarcastically to Melissa Melendez’s words in support of her bill on Wednesday, after she had spoken in favor of the legislation.
