The French international is arguably the best player in the Champions League this season scoring 15 goals in 11 appearances and equaling Cristiano Ronaldo’s most goals in the knockout phase of the Champions League.
Speaking at the launch of his Expedia Route 10 Freestyle Bus Tour of Paris, the two times Ballon D’or winner said: “They are strong attackers who are candidates for the Ballon d’Or.
“Benzema has had a marvelous season and Salah has been great for many years now. They are both the best attackers in the world right now.
“Both of them deserve it. They are both playing in the final of the best competition in the world. After the marvelous years they’ve had, they both deserve to be in contention.”
Kylian Mbappe announced during Paris Saint Germain’s final Ligue one game against Metz that he had penned another year’s contract with the Parisian club that will see him stay at Parc des Princes until 2025.
The Brazilian legend believes the 23 years old is the best player in France when he was asked if Mbappe was one of the best players in the world.
