Uvalde, Texas, is set to receive a visit from President Joe Biden on Sunday, as a result of the tragic school shooting that occurred there on Wednesday, which resulted in the deaths of 22 people.

On Saturday, President Joe Biden delivered the commencement address for the University of Delaware class of 2022. His alma mater is the University of Delaware.

Joe Biden, who graduated from Delaware State University in 1965, gave a speech to the graduating class in which he discussed his experience at the university before entering politics as well as his hopes for the future of the Blue Hens.

The president was reflecting on his career in academia when he did so, thinking back on his accomplishments and failures from the past. “I used to walk about the campus when I was in the same position as you are now. You attended every one of your classes at the same location. I walked the stage at the graduation ceremony, just like I did today. I’ve had some of the best years of my life here, and they were also some of the most formative years of my life.”
