According to President Joe Biden, the $700 billion stimulus package proposed by Senator Joe Manchin will not make inflation in the United States worse.
On Thursday, he urged Congress once more to approve the $739 billion reconciliation proposal, pledging that it will “lower” the record-high inflation that the United States of America is experiencing and will cut the deficit at a time when the United States of America is dealing with a recession.
During a virtual business roundtable discussion held on Thursday, the President of the United States pushed Congress to approve the Inflation Reduction Act, noting that it has “bipartisan support among the people of this country.”
“Hear what the people of the United States have to say,” President Joe Biden urged Congress. This policy is the most effective one that can be enacted because it has the potential to reduce inflation, decrease the deficit, slash healthcare costs, fight global warming, and protect the security of America’s energy supply. All of these goals can be accomplished by passing this proposal.
“Please return it to me. I need to see that. The American people are counting on you to pass this. Do so for both businesses and employees. Let’s see if we can get this into the United States of America first.”
