When are the Winter Olympics 2022?

The Winter Olympics for the year 2022 will begin on the 4th February 2022 and will end on the 20th of February, 2022.

Plus, each of the medals will be readily available from Day 1 for the games in biathlon, freestyle skiing, cross-country skiing, short track speed skating and speed skating.

What will be the Venues for the Winter Olympics 2022?

With the great Beijing holding majority of the matches, it’s the main venue for hosting most of the Winter Olympic 2022 games. Also, right from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, a total of 7 venues are set to be reused for the current Olympic games.

This is said to be a part of the sustainable initiative organized by the Beijing Organising Committee for the games.

Plus, the venues for the current Beijing 2022 Olympics are divided into different zones such as Yanqing, Zhangjiakou and Beijing.

What will be the new events at the Winter Olympics 2022?

There are seven new events that are added at the current Olympics 2022 event. These events are as follows:

  •         Women’s Monobob
  •         Freestyle Skiing Big Air
  •         Short Track speed skating mixed relay
  •         Ski jumping mixed team
  •         Snowboard Cross Mixed Team
  •         Freestyle Skiing aerials mixed team

Given above are the new and world-class events for the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. With that, the athletes are training real hard and will prove their point at the current Olympics.
