As conservative Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp seeks to fend off the Republican Party’s primary candidacy of former Senator David Perdue, who is backed by President Trump, he will receive some last-minute assistance from a very high-profile backer.

On Friday, the Kemp campaign will make the news that former Vice President Mike Pence will accompany Kemp on the campaign trail in the days leading up to the primary election in Georgia on May 24. On Friday, The News God and two other media outlets were the first to break the story that Vice President Mike Pence will be traveling to the state of Georgia shortly.
