Authorities Report Fourth Fatality in Arkansas Grocery Store Shooting Incident

The victims who passed away were named as Ellen Shrum, 81, Roy Sturgis, 50, Callie Weems, 23, and Shirley Taylor, 62.

Police said on Saturday night that a fourth person who had been hurt in a shooting on Friday outside an Arkansas grocery store had passed away.

According to a police news statement, 14 people—11 civilians, 2 law enforcement officials, and the suspect, 44-year-old Travis Eugene Posey—were hurt in the gunshot outside a Mad Butcher grocery shop in Fordyce, Arkansas.

The shooting took place on Friday just after 11:30 a.m.
