On the cliff face of Mussel Rock in Daly City, California, a man clung to life as best he could.
On Thursday, a guy who had become stranded on the face of a cliff that was around 500 feet in height was reportedly saved from certain death by a helicopter team in the state of California.
At approximately 5:10 p.m., a local fisherman reportedly saw a man hanging to a precipice approximately halfway down Mussel Rock. The fisherman immediately called for assistance, which was reported to the Golden Gate Division Air Operations of the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Mussel Rock is a rocky outcropping that can be found near Daly City and is located in San Mateo County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, fire officials reached out to the CHP for assistance after ground rescuers were unable to identify the guy due to his precarious location.

The victim was found by Helicopter H-30 of the California Highway Patrol. They concluded that a rescue by helicopter would be the most effective method because it would involve the least amount of risk.
