Police in Florida are looking for answers after the bodies of two teenagers were found in southwest Palm Bay on Christmas night.
Officers found the bodies of a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, a person in the area called 911 to say they saw a body in a remote area called “The Compound,” Palm Bay police said. The area is an unfinished subdivision.
The names of the teens were not released right away. Both were found with gunshot wounds, but police wouldn’t say how many.
“The compound was known for four-wheeling and for families going out on four-wheelers.”
“I don’t know what the teens were doing out here at this time, especially given the weather,” Palm Bay Police Lt. Michael Roberts said.
