According to the reports, the death of a lawyer in Florida was caused by in-laws who got into a quarrel with each other.
Wendi Adelson, the ex-wife of Dan Markel, a law professor who was murdered, testified in court for the first time earlier this month in a Florida courtroom.
She expressed to the defense, “I do not want to know what occurred.”
The witnesses were startled to observe that her behavior varied from that of a passive “Who?”-type witness to that of an aggressive “Who?”-type witness, depending on how dirty her blonde hair was covering the collar of her black jacket which was worn over her gray dress.
Adelson, who is a lawyer herself, gave her testimony under oath not more than a few feet away from the ex-boyfriend of her brother’s current girlfriend, who is suspected of carrying out the murder. Katherine Magbanua was found guilty by a jury in the wee hours of the night on Friday of first-degree murder, plotting to kill, and soliciting to kill another person.
Some people have made assumptions regarding Adelson’s true role in the case, such as how much she knew about the events leading up to her ex-death boyfriend’s execution before, during, or after the crime. Wendi has been insistent throughout this whole thing about how she was completely unaware of any scheme. We believe her.
Just a few short weeks before his sister Wendi’s testimony on May 19 in a Leon County courtroom, Adelson’s brother Charlie was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and solicitation to commit first-degree murder. These charges were brought against him. It is said that Charlie paid two individuals to take the life of his sister’s ex-husband.
