Leon Mejia-Vincente was an inhabitant of the city of New Bedford.
The authorities in the state of Massachusetts are making an urgent request for the public’s aid in locating a man who is accused of raping a child and who is currently on the run with his age of five years and one younger than the age of seventeen.
According to the information provided by the Office of the District Attorney for Bristol County, Leon Mejia, who is also known as Leon Mejia-Vincente, is wanted for the alleged raping and sexual abuse of a minor.
In a statement, the office of the attorney said that Mejia-Vicente is a citizen of Guatemala and that he had been residing in New Bedford with his two young children up until very recently.
