It was a fiery explosion on the freeway when an ODOT vehicle was hit by a dump truck.

The worker who was employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation suffered critical injuries, but it was determined that their lives were not in immediate jeopardy.

An enormous explosion was caused when a dump truck and a vehicle operated by the Ohio Department of Transportation were involved in a collision early on Thursday morning.

At approximately 7:20 in the morning, a collision occurred on Interstate 77 in Green, Ohio, between a dump truck and an ODOT vehicle that was stopped on the shoulder of the road. This was reported by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
