The mishap took place on the southern aspect of Mount Rainier, where the individual in question was climbing down.
On Mount Rainier, in the state of Washington, the body of a climber who was originally from British Columbia was discovered.
According to the National Park Service, the climber was determined to be Chun Hui Zhang, and he was 52 years old. Zhang was a Canadian citizen and lived in Surrey.
As a form of leisure, he and his companions had scaled the mountain and reached the top.
According to witnesses, a climber experienced what can only be described as a “severe fall” on Monday while descending the Disappointment Cleaver route on the south face of Rainier.
