At least 6 people have been confirmed dead following a “dairy accident” on the Colorado plains. According to Southeast Weld Fire Protection District officials, crews were dispatched to a “confined space” rescue, where the bodies were found on Wednesday.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office told reporters that the incident does not appear criminal in nature.

The identities of the victims and the preliminary cause of the accident have not yet been released to the public.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) confirmed to Fox News Digital that they had received notification.
On social media, the fire protection district said, “The District extends its heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families.”

Fire officials told Fox News that they will not provide any additional information on the event. The dairy is located in a rural location in Keenesburg, less than 40 miles northeast of Denver.
