In a dramatic turn of events, a young man from India named S. Arangan, alias Dinesh, has been beaten up by his two wives and their relatives after he attempted to marry for the third time.
This unusual incident took place in Tamil Nadu, where Dinesh faced the wrath of his two wives.
According to an India Today report, Dinesh, 26 years old at the time, worked as a patternmaker at a private firm in Rasipalayam near Thennampalayam, Tamil Nadu.
He had married Priyadharshini in 2016, but their relationship soured. Dinesh allegedly abused his wife, which led to her leaving him for her family. Later, he secretly married a second wife, Anupriya, a divorcee with a child, in April 2019. However, he allegedly mistreated her as well, prompting her to leave him.
After his two failed marriages, Dinesh was searching for a third wife on a matrimonial website.
When his first two wives found out, they planned to meet him at his work premises, where they, along with their relatives, thrashed him with sandals.
The incident captured on video has been shared over a million times on social media. Authorities later intervened, and an investigation was launched.
