According to reports from TMJ4 news, the incident occurred on the morning of November 21 at roughly 7 a.m. at the young man’s home, which is located between 87th and Hemlock.
The boy apparently told the authorities that the gun “accidentally went off” as he was playing with it, and they took his word for it. The head wound caused by the bullet ultimately proved fatal for his mother, Quiana Mann. After hearing the gunshot, the kid woke up his sister, and his sister rushed to check on their mother, only to discover that she had been shot to death.
