Who is BamBam?
BamBam was born Kunpimook Bhuwakul on May 2, 1997, in Bangkok, Thailand. He adopted the stage name BamBam as a reference to Bamm-Bamm from “The Flintstones.”
Moved by his mother’s love of singing and Rain concerts at an early age he started taking dance lessons then took up vocal training later on. In 2007 Kunpimook won first prize in the Thailand Rain Cover Dance Competition which propelled him onto bigger stages including BlackPink superstar Lisa who acted with him previously for We Zaa Cool Crew during their younger years before making it big themselves.
After winning several more competitions and moving to South Korea for three years, he became a trainee at JYP Entertainment. He was introduced as the newest member of Got7 in 2014.

In November 2014, Got7 released their first full-length studio album entitled “Identify.” They saw further success in June of 2015 when they released the single “Love Train.” In 2016, they continued to release more singles with two new albums: Moriagatteyo and Flight Log: Turbulence.
The latter was especially successful as it skyrocketed them into international fame overnight for its catchy title song “Don’t Wanna Cry”. That same year we also saw a return from members JB and Mark Tuan on the track titled “No Matter What” which charted at #87 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart – an impressive feat considering that this is only one stop within North America.
BamBam Net Worth
BamBam is not your average rapper. At just 20 years old, he has already achieved international fame as a member of the South Korean boy band Got7 and his social media following counts for over 13 million followers on Instagram alone – an impressive feat in itself.
In addition to being part of one of Asia’s most popular hip-hop groups, BamBam also dabbles in fashion design with several collections under his belt including a collaboration with Nike last year that saw him designing special edition sneakers worth $200 each.
In case you were wondering how this singer turned into such a savvy businessman so quickly: it all began when he was scouted by JYP Entertainment at age 15 while living in Thailand where they offered him the chance. BamBam has an estimated net worth of $10 million and still counting.
