Chelsea have just bought Edouard Mendy to play as their number one goalkeeper, so when word reached fans that the Senegal stopper had picked up an injury on international duty this week, there was despair.
Some joked that maybe Petr Cech, our director of football and former all-time greatest glovesman, would slip on his helmet again and go in goal.
So maybe the club are being a little cheeky with their “Unseen” video feature this week, showing the man himself doing drills with the goalkeepers.
He still looks in good nick, to be fair.
