South African football enjoyed a fantastic weekend of action including the Tshwane Derby on Sunday
Mamelodi Sundowns beat SuperSport United 2-1 away from home in PSL action to keep their title hopes alive.
The Brazilians are now seven points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs who dropped two points this weekend after drawing against Black Leopards.
We can take a look at head coach Pitso Mosimane’s view of the race, stating they are not giving up. Mosimane believes things can change quickly.
He also poked fun at Chiefs, pointing out some teams were on honeymoon while Sundowns were challenging for multiple trophies.
The belief is Chiefs are fresher without Caf duty while Sundowns also went far in domestic Cup competitions where they have already lifted the Telkom Knockout Cup this season.
We can take a look at how the Sundowns fans reacted at the stadium, giving their players a standing ovation after the important victory against United.
As a bonus video we showcase former Sundowns star Percy Tau working in the gym at Club Brugge in Belgium.
