A father and his two daughters were rescued from the Lewis River by officials from Clark County, Washington.
On Saturday, a boat carrying a father, his two kids, and the father’s girlfriend crashed on a river in the state of Washington. Firefighters were able to save the entire family.
On Saturday, at about one o’clock in the afternoon, Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue got a call reporting a person who had drowned in the East Fork of the Lewis River in Ridgefield.
The terrain and the cliffs were extremely steep, and there were no clear access points in the area, so the rescue workers were unable to reach there.
When the firefighters came, they saw an adult male and his son, who was 8 years old, standing on the bank of the river. This information comes from the authorities. He told rescuers that the motorboat he was riding in had collided with a cluster of trees out in the ocean and had started taking on water as a result.
