Manchester City signed Ruben Dais from Benfica in 2020 for €68 million. Since his arrival, Ruben Dias has grown to be a leader and one of Pep Guardiola’s most trusted players.
Ruben Dias scored his goal for Manchester City in their 2-1 victory over West Ham United. Ruben Dias was named Manchester City player of the season in 2021. Ruben Dias was named the Football writer association player of the season in 2021 becoming the first defender since Steve Nicol.
Dais also won the Premier League player of the season and the UEFA best defender of the year. He was named Manchester City deputy captain alongside İlkay Gundogan and Kelvin De Bruyne.
The Portuguese international has made 90 appearances for Manchester United scoring 3 goals in the process.
