Football and politics rarely mix, but when they do you know there is a real problem.
We are all well aware of Marcus Rashford’s battle with the UK Government over the handout of free school meals, and yesterday he called them out again with what is being offered in the school meal handouts.
Just had a good conversation with the Prime Minister. He has assured me that he is committed to correcting the issue with the food hampers and that a full review of the supply chain is taking place. He agrees that images of hampers being shared on Twitter are unacceptable.

Chelsea defender Reece James has also being going above and beyond with helping feed the people of Britain during the Covid crisis, and he has waded in with his views below.
£15 compared to £30 – quite incredible really.
£15 Free School Meal vs The @felixprojectuk using a £30 donation.
Look at the difference between the two. Unacceptable. pic.twitter.com/As4XTshVgK
