According to Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region governor, Ivan Fedorov, Russian strikes killed two people and wounded 10 others, including four children.
According to Fedorov, Russian soldiers carried out 567 attacks throughout 16 settlements in the region over the previous 24 hours and into Wednesday morning. Zaporizhzhia has been at the forefront of Russia’s conflict against its smaller neighbour since February 2022.

“Emergency services continue to respond on the ground,” Fedorov added.
