After attacking Harris in a 2019 Democratic primary discussion, Gabbard went viral.
According to former Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, former President Trump’s preparation for the debate is going “great,” she told Fox News on Friday.
“He is aware of the problems. With regard to Kamala Harris’s track record of reminding voters, “What have you done for the last three and a half years?” he is extremely focused. She told co-host Brian Kilmeade of “FOX & Friends,” “You can paint this lovely picture about what you’re going to do, but we’re paying attention to what you’ve already done and how her policies have destroyed our economy and made us less safe, both here at home and abroad.”
In order to assist Gabbard hone his talents before the much-awaited debate on September 10 at the National Constitutional Center in Philadelphia with Vice President Kamala Harris, the former president sought Gabbard out.
During a Democratic primary debate in 2019, Gabbard notably attacked Harris for locking up hundreds of Californians for marijuana offenses, even though she herself used the substance.
“She laughed when asked if she had ever smoked marijuana, and put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations,” the woman said in the now-viral discussion.
There are other former Democrats who seem to be supporting Trump besides Abbard.
There are still rumors circulating that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. would announce his withdrawal from the contest and give the former president his endorsement on Friday.
Gabbard added some commentary on that conjecture.
“Those who support him are free-thinking individuals who cherish freedom and are worried about the damage that President Biden and Vice President Harris have caused to our nation and how they have brought us dangerously close to nuclear war, World War III, and other regime change conflicts. They’re worried about the deeply ingrained corruption in practically every government department as well as the dysfunctional health care system,” she added.
Bobby Kennedy’s actions will be observed, and voting shouldn’t be taken for granted. We will need to convince his followers of the stark differences between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Against Donald Trump, who advocates for freedom, prosperity, and peace, Kamala Harris supports limiting our freedoms, a more autocratic government, and more war.”
