The 23-year-old England international made his debut for Chelsea last season in the UEFA Super Cup against Villarreal. Chalobah played an important role as Chelsea eon the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
He scored his first Chelsea goal in Chelsea’s Premier League open fixture against Crystal Palace, scoring the open goal as Chelsea won the game by 3-0.
Trevoh Chalobah made 30 appearances for Chelsea last scoring four goals in the process including making 20 Premier League appearances. He will be hoping for more playing opportunities next season especially with the departure of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen and Thiago Silva turning 38 years in September.

In an exclusive interview with the Chelsea media via Chelsea’s official website, the England international named Thiago Silva as the player he looks up to, saying: “ He (Thiago Silva) is one of the idols I’ve always looked up to when I was young,’ he revealed. ‘He brings a lot of experience to the team. If you see how he played last season, unbelievable.
“For me as a young player, trying to get to that level is very important for me and to learn from him every day. Everyone from the team learns from him as well and he brings just a massive character to the team.”
