The poignant notebook kept by her father chronicled Lucy Morgan’s last days on Earth.
A 6-year-old girl from New Jersey passed away on the last day of a family vacation with her parents and three siblings due to brain injuries sustained in an unusual badminton racket accident.
Before disaster occurred on their final full day in Limerick, Maine, Lucy Morgan and her family were having a great time, according to her father, Jesse Morgan, a minister at Green Pond Bible Chapel in Rockaway, New Jersey.
“On our final day together, we were just enjoying life at our wonderful lake cabin in Maine. The kids wanted to try badminton in the front yard while we were having a fast lunch by the lake, Jesse wrote on his blog, New Creation Living.
“Bethany and I were relaxing in the back when we heard screaming,” he explained.
