Georgia school administrator received a two-year term for his role in a drug trafficking ring.

She first became involved in the drug trade in Montgomery, Alabama, where she now resides.

It was because of her involvement in another state’s drug trafficking organization that she was convicted in Georgia and sentenced to a federal prison term.

Melody Cheatham was sentenced to two years in prison after she acknowledged conspiring with others to illegally possess and distribute oxycodone, as well as to illegally distribute the medication.

She was hired as an assistant principal at Brock Elementary School by the Savannah-Chatham Public Schools. She was a member of a narcotics trafficking organization in Montgomery, Alabama.
