St Paul’s Beach in Rhodes

St. Paul’s Bay is a crater-shaped beach with shallow waters that is ideal for families with young children. There are umbrellas and beach showers available for guests. This is one of the few beaches in Rhodes that is suitable for snorkeling. If you’re a fan of the movie “The Guns of Navarone,” this is the perfect spot to relax. There are also a few tavernas and restaurants offering a wide variety of food and drinks.

The picturesque St Pauls Bay is a popular beach in Rhodes. It is located south of Lindos on the island’s southeast coast. It is divided into two bays, one for snorkeling and one for swimming. It offers pebbled sand and crystal-clear water. There are plenty of places to eat and sunbathe, but if you’re looking for a quiet, secluded spot, St Paul’s Bay is the ideal spot.

St Paul’s Bay is a minuscule cove on the southeast coast of Rhodes. Legend has it that St. Paul’s first landing on Rhodes occurred here in AD 51. There are three beaches in Lindos, but St. Paul’s Bay is the most scenic. The water is warm until October and the cliffs are protected from winds. The bay is small and uncrowded, making it perfect for swimming.

Kyra Panagia beach on the Island of Samos

The Kyra Panagia beach in the island of Samos is a beautiful, long stretch of sandy beach protected by steep cliffs. The beach is characterized by light grey pebbles and interesting rock formations. From afar, the turquoise water appears almost emerald in colour. The beach is ideal for swimming and has good facilities. There are also plenty of places to explore nearby.

The resort area of Faliraki has many hotels and restaurants, as well as cafes and shops. The main beach on the island, Kyra Panagia, is very busy in August and during summer festivals. Aside from the main beach, the resort area also has many small villages, which offer a laid-back atmosphere and authentic local culture. The beaches offer excellent photo opportunities.

Pebble Beach is another popular beach in Samos. While it has a pebbled shoreline, the shallow water is perfect for swimming. There are also rental sun beds and umbrellas available for rent. There is a snack bar here and there are also several hotels within walking distance. In the summer, you can spend the whole day on this beach! If you want to have more fun, try renting a sunbed or umbrella at one of the nearby tavernas.

The island is home to the famous mathematician Pythagoras and is a true adventurer’s paradise. The main port, Poliochni, is one of the oldest harbors in Europe. There are also several ancient sites to explore. The Kastro Van Myrina castle overlooks the island’s main port. There is also a go-kart track in the village of Vathy. Whether you are looking for a beach to relax on or are looking for some activities to do on land, Samos has it all.

Lalaria beach in Northen Ithaki

The white and round pebbles that makeup Lalaria beach are truly spectacular. The beach is only accessible by boat during the summer months when the wind does not blow so hard. The pebbles are perfectly formed and called Lalarites. You can swim through them, and it is said that if you do, you will be younger for the rest of your life. While there, be sure to explore the caves that are situated nearby.

The cultural association of Skiathos is doing everything they can to stop pebble pinching, which has ruined the shoreline. The association has also started a campaign to educate visitors about the effects of pebble pinching, which can result in a fine of up to EUR400 for violators. Visitors are encouraged to use the passenger boat to access the beach as it is remote and not well-maintained by the general public.

If you want to enjoy the sea without the crowds, visit Elia. The island is accessible by boat from Chora. You’ll find a small parking lot, as well as several restaurants and cafes. The barren rocky landscape of the Cyclades and the intense deep blue Aegean water is a fantastic combination. Though the water here is cold year-round, the beach bar-restaurant is a luxurious spot with Mykonos-like prices.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, consider a Greek island vacation. The weather is beautiful nearly all year round and the beaches are stunning. The west side has Falasarna, which is isolated from the rest of the island. You’ll also find a stunning castle on the island, Bourtzi, located in the north. This tiny island has plenty of things to do.

Gialos beach in Lakonia Prefecture

If you are searching for a tranquil and scenic beach, Gialos beach in the province of Lakonia is the perfect choice. You can swim in its crystalline waters without the need to hire a sun bed. Gialos is an ideal starting point for daily excursions and a pleasant place to spend the evening. There are a few taverns along the seaside that serve good food and drink.

Platis Gialos beach is located 6 km south-west of Lipsi and is an undeveloped pebbled beach with clear, blue water. Unlike the beaches to the west, Platis Gialos is sheltered from strong winds, and it is an excellent choice for those seeking peace and tranquility. Its sandy shore and crystal water make it a popular destination for families. The road to Platis Gialos is a narrow asphalt road that leads right to the beach.

Gavdos beach in Southen Crete

A trip to the beautiful island of Gavdos in Southen Crete is a great way to unwind. This small island lies in the Libyan Sea, making it Europe’s southernmost point. The waters are crystal clear, and the sandy beaches are undeveloped and virgin. Although the island receives a lot of visitors during the summer, it remains unique all year round. This is because Gavdos is connected by ferry to the rest of the island.

The island is also blessed with a strong, intense sun. In fact, Gavdos boasts some of the highest solar radiation in Europe. This means that even if you’re not a sunbather, you’ll still enjoy a good amount of warmth and sunlight. Although this island does not have any freshwater, the locals collect rainwater to drink. Also, power is limited during the night, so you may want to bring a flashlight.

The Gavdos peninsula is comprised of two islands: one is 32 square meters in size, and the other is known as little Gavdos. Both are part of the same region, and are approximately nine kilometers long and 4.5 km wide. The landscape of Gavdos is similar to that of other southern Crete beaches, but is populated by pine trees and junipers. Birds often stop at Gavdos for rest during their migration between Africa and Europe, making it a popular stopover for birds.

On the northern part of Gavdos, you’ll find the picturesque Sarakiniko beach. Named after the pirates who once sought refuge on the island, Sarakiniko beach is a popular destination for visitors to the island. It’s the only beach directly accessible by car, and has a nice sandy shore. You can also find taverns, cafes, and mini markets here.
