In the United States, there have been confirmed cases of monkeypox among over 30 people.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), monkeypox and orthopoxvirus have been found in 31 confirmed cases across the country.
The state of New York has reported the highest number of confirmed cases among the 13 states. There have been seven cases reported. We have a total of thirty, six of which are located in California, four of which are located in Florida, and three of which are located in Colorado.
Both the state of Illinois and the state of Utah have each initiated two separate cases.
